Quick Start
Get up and running with the HMS4all API in under 5 minutes.
Step 1: Register Your Hospital
Go to /get-started and fill out the registration form and pick a unique slug — every hospital starts on a free trial. You will receive admin credentials on the confirmation screen.
Step 2: Log In to the Admin Dashboard
Navigate to /login and sign in with the admin email and password from Step 1. You will land on the admin dashboard.
Step 3: Generate an API Key
Go to Admin → Automation → API Keysand click “Create API Key”. Give it a name, select the scopes you need, and copy the key (it starts with hms4all_sk_). Store it securely — you will not see it again.
Step 4: Make Your First API Call
# Authenticate with API key
curl https://your-api.hms4all.com/agenty/meta/tools \
-H "Authorization: Bearer hms4all_sk_your_api_key"
# Or use JWT: login first
curl -X POST https://your-api.hms4all.com/auth/login \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"email":"you@your-hospital.com","password":"your-password"}'
# Use the returned token
curl https://your-api.hms4all.com/agenty/meta/tools \
-H "Authorization: Bearer eyJhbGci..."Step 5: Connect an MCP Client
Add this to your Claude Desktop config (claude_desktop_config.json):
{
"mcpServers": {
"hms4all": {
"url": "https://your-api.hms4all.com/sse",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer hms4all_sk_your_api_key"
}
}
}
}Restart Claude Desktop. You should see 48 HMS4all tools available in the tool picker.
Step 6: Send an A2A Task
Test agent-to-agent communication:
curl -X POST https://your-api.hms4all.com/a2a \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer hms4all_sk_your_api_key" \
-d '{
"jsonrpc": "2.0",
"method": "tasks/send",
"id": "1",
"params": {
"id": "task-001",
"message": {
"role": "user",
"parts": [{"type": "text", "text": "Analyze these lab results: CBC with Hb 10.2"}]
}
}
}'Next Steps
